This stunning Ampleforth 47mm Artificial Grass has an exceedingly lifelike effect with its multi-directional pile. With its rich colours and dense pile this synthetic lawn looks and feels amazing.
Its deep 47mm pile gives this fake grass an exceptional feel underfoot that is perfect for designing your dream garden. A variety of colours complement this artificial turf’s mix of straight and curled yarn and comes together to create a more natural appearance. You’ll have more time to enjoy this fake grass as it does not require mowing or watering and doesn’t produce any pollen.
Replace existing lawns or use to cover concrete, decking or balconies with this artificial lawn’s realistic style. This synthetic turf works well even in harder to reach places or shaded areas where real turf can’t be used and water passes through this artificial grass’s drainage holes to the surface beneath.
Made from lead and cadmium free materials, this fake lawn is pet and child friendly.
Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
