Get a stunning addition to your garden with this Someroaks 42mm PU Backed Artificial Grass. Admire the luxuriously soft and dense feel and gorgeously natural appearance of this fake turf.
Its 40mm pile creates a well established air and with its thick straight and curled yarn this synthetic grass adds a sumptuous feel underfoot. Different shades and yarn give a more realistic appearance that can be enjoyed no matter the season. Spend more time relaxing in your garden without having to mow or water your lawn.
Fit in even more places without a join thanks to this fake lawn’s 2m, 4m and 5m widths. This artificial grass doesn’t produce any pollen and features drainage holes to allow water through it. The PU backing offers increased corrosion and weather resistance and with its lower water absorption is better for pet owners as well (though it is still recommended that it is cleaned regularly).
This synthetic turf is a fantastic kid and pet friendly option with its lead and cadmium free materials.
Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
