This thick and dense Holly 42mm Artificial Grass gives you a great looking and feeling lawn with virtually no maintenance.
With a subtle mix of different shades of green in the 40mm blades and a thick, cushioning light brown and dark green curled base fibres, this artificial grass looks even more realistic. A comfortable feel underfoot and a pile that flexes back into position as you walk on it, make this an ideal grass for any garden.
You can add a dash of green in almost any space with this versatile grass, that can be fitted on decking, concrete roof and balconies as well as on your lawn. Water drains easily through this artificial grass with its drainage holes in the latex backing and it produces no pollen, great for the summer months.
Made from cadmium and lead free materials, this grass is kid and pet friendly, so everyone can join in the fun.
Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
