Natural aesthetic
This is one of our most natural-looking grass options. The mixture of dark and light green blades provides an authentic appearance, which is enhanced by a field root yarn. The result? A luscious lawn that looks great all year round.
The combination of straight polyethylene and curled polypropylene micro-nerve fibres creates a sense of depth and richness. With minimal glare and shine, Supreme 50mm looks incredible from all angles.

UV protected
As with many of our other artificial grass options, Supreme 50mm features UV stabilisation, which guarantees protection from the sun’s rays for 10 years.
Made with quality and safety in mind
This grass is manufactured in Holland and meets stringent EU quality requirements, so you can feel confident knowing your lawn will look its finest with minimal maintenance. Plus, it’s child and pet-friendly, making it an ideal choice for families looking for a sumptuous lawn.
Installation
Planning to go the DIY route with your grass installation? We have a full installation guide that sets out the step-by-step process and all the accessories you need for the job.
To get the best results, here are a few extra handy hints:
- Choose your widths carefully. You can mix and match 2m and 4m pieces, but 5m widths must only be used in conjunction with other 5m pieces for consistency.
- Select the best base material for your space to ensure proper drainage. For extra comfort, why not consider a shockpad underlay, too?
- Include a weed membrane to reduce unwanted growth.
- Make sure the lining nap (weave direction) faces the same way when joining panels - this will create a seamless join.
Maintenance
One of the biggest benefits of artificial grass is the fact you don’t need to mow it. It’s easy to care for, and by following just a few maintenance tips, you can enjoy a fresh and vibrant lawn all year round.
We recommend the following steps to keep your Supreme 50mm in excellent condition:
- Remove any pet waste as soon as possible to reduce the risk of stains and odours. (We also have pet-specific lawns which come with unique backing designs to keep it extra clean).
- Don’t set heavy furniture or reflective surfaces on your grass - they can flatten the lawn fibres, and magnified heat can even melt your lawn!
- Regularly sweep away debris, such as leaves and twigs, to ensure proper drainage, and give your lawn a rinse weekly or monthly.

Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
