Light, vibrant, and authentic
This turf features a beige field-jute thatch underneath, which helps reflect light to create a bright, natural look. With exceptional UV protection, your London 38mm grass will stay vibrant for at least 10 years.
We love how the combination of straight polyethylene and curled polypropylene micro-nerve fibres keeps the blades standing - no need to worry about your lawn getting flattened. Plus, the densely woven micro-nerve fibres reduce glare and shine, so you can enjoy that glorious light colour looking great from every angle.
Pet- and child-friendly
London 38mm has been manufactured by Euroturf, so you can feel confident knowing it reaches the highest quality standards and covers all bases in terms of performance. Here are our top tips to get the best results:
- Lay your London 38mm grass over a weed membrane to keep unwanted plants at bay.
- For extra comfy padding, use a shockpad underlay - ideal for children’s play areas.
- Make sure the weave faces the same way when joining panels together. This will achieve a seamless finish.
Maintenance
You may have chosen our London 38mm grass because it’s so easy to care for. There’s no need to mow your lawn, stay on top of weeding, or worry about trailing mud through the house on wet days.
To keep your artificial grass looking and feeling as fresh as possible, here are a few maintenance tips:
- If you have pets, pick up any mess as soon as possible to prevent odours and staining. (You may also want to look into our pet-specific grass options).
- Sweep away any leaves and debris to ensure proper drainage, especially in the autumn and winter.
- Don’t store heavy furniture on your grass, as it can flatten the fibres.
- Consider a weekly and monthly cleaning schedule.
- Avoid any mirrors or reflective surfaces, as these can magnify light and melt your grass.
Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
