Kexby 32mm Artificial Grass
£11.99 £9.99/m²
With its versatile appearance and comfy feel you can enjoy this Kexby 32mm Artificial Grass in even more areas. Its lifelike colours and style give this a lifelike look that can add some green to any garden.
Its 30mm pile features straight and curled fibres and adds depth and a natural look to this fake grass. This synthetic lawn’s versatility allows you to add grass to areas that real turf is unsuitable for, as it does not need access for mowing or watering and works well in shady areas.
Lay this artificial turf over concrete or decking or replace your current lawn with a low maintenance alternative to real grass. Water can drain through this fake grass’s drainage holes to the surface below.
Child and pet friendly, this synthetic lawn is made from lead and cadmium free materials and doesn’t produce any pollen in the spring and summer.
Installing artificial grass is a straightforward DIY project for most gardens, patios, and balconies. The key to a long-lasting, natural-looking finish is preparing a solid, well-drained base before the grass is rolled out.
For soil areas, the existing turf is removed and replaced with a compacted sub-base (typically MOT Type 1 or granite dust),followed by a sharp sand or grano dust laying course. This creates a smooth, stable surface that prevents dips and improves drainage. For hard surfaces such as concrete, the grass can usually be fitted directly using adhesive.
Once the base is ready, the grass is rolled out, trimmed to fit, joined where required, and secured around the edges. Brushing the fibres upright and adding kiln-dried sand (if recommended by the manufacturer) helps the pile sit naturally and improves durability.
Most installations are completed in a day for an average garden.

Artificial grass is designed to be low maintenance, but a small amount of regular care will keep it looking its best for years.
For general upkeep, simply remove leaves and debris with a stiff brush or leaf blower and brush the pile against the grain to keep the fibres upright. Occasional rinsing with water will wash away dust and pollen and help the lawn stay fresh.
For homes with pets, solid waste should be removed as normal and the area lightly hosed down. Most modern artificial grasses have a permeable backing, allowing liquids to drain through easily. A mild detergent or artificial grass cleaner can be used for a deeper clean if needed.
To prevent flattening in high-traffic areas, brush the surface periodically. With this basic care, a good quality artificial lawn will maintain its colour and shape for many years.
